Matt Murray

“One of the things I have learned as a sportsman and a coach is that natural is best.
A balanced, nutritious diet is a building block of health and fitness that will help you achieve all your sporting goals..”

Matt Murray is the hugely-popular Wolves goalkeeper who was finally forced to concede defeat to a gruelling sequence of injuries and accept retirement back in 2010.

He had played a memorable and starring role in the club’s first ever promotion to the Premier League in 2003 and subsequently in the thrilling run to the Championship Play Off promotion semi-finals four years later. So impressive was the giant goalkeeper – Murray stands an imposing 6ft 6in in his socks – during those two campaigns he broke into the England Under 21s and was marked down as a future senior international.

Today Matt is as popular as ever in his role as an Ambassador for Wolves Community Trust, and has thrived in his work within the community.
